Message from Máréfalva
Máréfalva is famous for its numerous Székely gates.
In groups of seven, we collected the messages on the gates:
1. Respect your past and your ancestors.
2. Blessing on arrivals, peace with departures.
3. Visit us traveller if your intentions are good, friendship awaits you.
4. Those who go through me will be smart, happy and blessed.
5. Welcome if you come, farewell if you leave.
6. Truth and honour, loyalty and love, diligence and faith are part of God forever.
7. House can be anywhere but home can be only here.
8. The host behind this gate closes out false dreams of yours.
