Notes on ’The Leader in Me’ conference
The first national conference of ‘The Leader in Me’ was held on 17th May in Magyarmecske
To the conference the Csányi Foundation was invited. The three-day conference was the closing event of ‘The 7 Customs Programme.’ After the introduction, three school principals had presentations in whose schools the programme has already been introduced. They informed us about what changes the programme brought in the schools’, the parents’ and in the children’s lives. The three schools are located in different geographical regions with different socio-cultural backgrounds. The programme has positive changes in the everyday lives of both the prominent schools and the rural area schools with many underprivileged and disadvantaged students. During the afternoon we took part in workshops where we could look into the 7 customs programme. At this point we could share our experiences and we could exchange information. I could tell that we at the Csányi Foundation can make use of the programme because we can help our talented but underprivileged students.
