Alicia in the Hungarian agriculture

On 9th May we organised a little trip to Alicia, our volunteer, to introduce her the most famous amusement park of Somogy county, the Katica Farm.

We left the Community House of Kaposvár at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. We had a lot of fun on the way and we taught many words and songs to Alicia. As soon as we arrived there we run to the slides. Alicia followed us with surprise. Everyone tried the rainbow slide, the blue slide with a ditch at its end full with balls and the bravest ones (the boys, Anna and me) also tried the extremely steep and very fast red giant. Alicia confessed that she is scared to use the red slide so she tried the rainbow with Nóri. Unfortunately we had to leave the amusement park behind but we weren’t sad as we saw the cages and pens and their inhabitants. There were hens, guinea-fowls and peacocks, which feathers are used as decorations at carnivals. We instantly translated some names of the animals to let Alicia know these animals. The last destination of the trip was the knight’s castle. We climbed up the towers and finally we closed Alicia in a stock but she still had great fun.
