We’ve been to England

We’ve been to England

This year was the second two-weeks camp England for the Csányi Foundation’s students. The new travellers and the last years’s travellers, this was an interesting and effective camp. Students told their parents and mentors about these two weeks happily at the Family Day, organized in the middle of summer.

A bit excitement at the faces of the first flyers, a lot of waiting and messages secretly hidden. These were the last pictures I took before taking off. The weather, after the little cold front at home this is going to be okay, but I thought that the weather won’t be so nice in England. And no! The winners of the English project could spent two wonderful weeks at the most beautiful part of England. Following Kipling and Virginia Wolf, among the 1066’s symbols, some wonderful trips enriched the language lessons in the morning at the most beautiful parts of Sussex county. Students really liked this view and they tried to enjoy every moment of Brighton and its neighbourhood. Of course, the sea’s temper-proof charm, the wonderful buildings, the hundred years old monuments also enhance the city’s charm. Perhaps, the kindness from the host families eased the students’ homesickness. The most amazing experience was the capital.  We were wandering in London for two days, sometimes walking, sometimes boating, sometimes using the tube and we have also admired the city from the London Eye’s cabins. We have seen and learnt a lot. For the secondary school students, this camp gave a lot concerning the oral practice before their language exam. I wish great success and endurance for the next year’s project. It worths!!
