The forest as an ecosystem

The forest as an ecosystem

On May 29, the Kaposvár group 4 was again in Somogyszob, where this time we walked along the study trail to talk about the connections between the plants, animals and our environment. With the help of the boards of the study trail, we talked about the connection between the birds’ appearance and their way of life, the migratory birds and hunting, we gathered what we know about the big beasts. During the tour, the children completed many interesting rehearsals, they became richer with a lot of new information while solving the playful tasks. The afternoon was full of games: football, board games and hideouts.

“We were already looking forward to Kriszta and her interesting, exciting tasks. We worked in a group, although our group finished in last place, but we had a lot of fun. We liked the antler search the best: Kriszta hid three antlers in the woods, we managed to find one! It was a good day, thank you!” Boglárka Borsfai, Sára Ladányi

“This is the third time we have come to Kriszta. Walking through the woods, we learned the difference between a red deer and a fallow deer, called large beast’s individuals, and collected points with pictures of different birds. We still had a great time, as we gain a lot of knowledge in a playful way. I was very happy that our group was together in this beautiful environment. We even talked about coming back next year.” Levente Örs Sipos

“I was happy to accompany the group on the trip, as this gave me the opportunity to get to know the children in a different environment, in different circumstances. The pleasant walk in the forest, full of tasks, was a great success. The children gained a lot of new information from the tasks. The day was in a very good mood. This trip will greatly contribute to the forging of the group.” Valéria Vargáné Skoda, developer
