Family day at the Bear Sanctuary in Veresegyháza with P3

As we arrived we could hardly hold our anticipation back to see the bears and cubs. It was a grat expierence to feed them honey using wooden spoons. Afterwards, they all fell asleep beside the fence. The sanctuary not only houses bears but other wild animal from the local fauna such as ravens and wolves. We have learnt much about the animals living here. This weekend Csányi Ádám and volunteer Leó Jacqueline Zsófi accompanied us. We thank the foundation for this fantastic day. Bálint- Orsós Andrea, mentor

How we saw it…

Menus Ildikó parent ” Everyone was really excited about this trip. Athough the bus ride was long, it was definitely worth it. It’s a picturesque place with many wonderful animals who we could see up close in safety. After feeding the bears, we saw a unique Predator show with wolves. Then we rode a small train in the woods. It was a great day and we thank the foundation for organising it.”
