A visit to Csípőtelek
The Csányi Foundation and the Bonafarm announced a shared tender called ’My Farm’ in the autumn of 2014 on which 90 children took part in. All participants could participate in the field trip to Csípőtelek on the 28th of March 2015
We had the opportunity to see Europe’s most advanced dairy cattle farm. We looked around on the farm in 3 groups under the supervision and help of Bíró András, dr Hoffmann Dénes and Oratics Balázs. We could see the milking parlour, the stables and the calf rearing place where we could stroke the few week old calf for most of our pleasure. During the field trip we learned many things and heard a lot of information about cows and dairy products. Our hosts waited us with delicious scones, Túró Rudi and refreshments. We also had to fill in a test about the dairy cattle farm based on the information we heard during the day. After the visit to Csípőtelek we went to Bóly to have delicious meal and everyone got a placard for their tenders and the best ones also got presents.
We really enjoyed the day in Csipőtelek and we would like to say thank you for this possibility to Bonafarm firm and the Csányi Foundation and for the colleague of Bóly Zrt, Kovács Tamara.
