One day in the name of Love

One day in the name of Love

On the 12th of February we talked about Valentine’s- and Bálint’s-day’s traditions. Amber was with us through the day, who arrived after 8 am to Szeged. After the breakfast, we listened one of our groupmate’s, Bánk Kohári’s PPT about Dubai. He shared his memories with us about the Chess Competition, the ants what he found in the desert, and the things what they did there in their free time. He showed us his V.I.P. entrance card and the sand what he collected. He also talked with Judit Polgár (the Hungarian chess queen) what was a huge experience for him. After this we went in front of the Radnóti Miklós High school for 10 am, where we had a tour ‘Szerelmes Szeged’, which was organised by TourInform. We heard about famous people’s relationships, love letters, beautiful and bad marriages, even secret love semeiologys, while we went through Stefania Avenue, Széchenyi Square, Kárász Street, and Dugonics Square. They talked about Miklós Radnóti and Fanni Gyarmati’s long distance relationship, András Dugonics’s Etelka and Ferenc Móra’s changeful memories with his non-wives relationships. After this we went back to our house and ate lunch, and afterward with our elder groupmates, Gábor and Dani we had an ECDL lesson, and when it ended Gábor and Amber had a presentation about Valentine’s- and Bálint’s-day where we had to do a card for a person who’s name we pull out of a hat. We wrote nice things about each other and we drew some cute things on the front of it. We’ve been through many wholesome things this day!
