Kaposvári tudományos siker az országos versenyen
Ramóna Budavári, a member of Kaposvár 1st group, secured first place in her age category at the Dunántúli Mandulafa National Scientific Competition.
The Dunántúli Mandulafa is a conference for young researchers aged 10-19, where students present their first presentations and create scientific publications appropriate for their age group.
For the 10th consecutive year, the Institute of Education Sciences at the University of Kaposvár successfully organizes the conference for young researchers on the Kaposvár campus. The goal of the event is to stimulate scientific activities among young students, promote collaboration, develop motivation and practical skills, and lay the foundation for a future potential research career.
This year, Ramóna Budavári, a member of the Kaposvár 1st group, represented the Kaposvár Community House, with her scientific research supported by mentor Dr. Varga Dániel.
“I prepared with great excitement for the 10th anniversary of the Dunántúli Mandulafa Young Researchers Scientific Conference, held at the Kaposvár Campus of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences. At the conference, I had to present my research through a presentation, which was about microorganisms living on smartphone screens. I was a bit nervous, as I had to report my experiment and results in front of a three-member evaluation panel, but I tried to perform well and answer the questions wisely. I was very happy when, at the awards ceremony, it was announced that I had achieved first place in my age group with my presentation!
In the future, I definitely plan to continue researching similar topics.
Many thanks to Zsuzsa néni and Dani bácsi for preparing me for the competition!”
