We ended the year with a garden party

“Group 2 from Nagybajom ended the school year with a garden party. The boys lit the fire first so that we would have plenty of coals by the time the tree burned down, while the girls made lemonade and baked baguettes. When we had enough coals, we put the grilled sausages, grilled cheese and chicken breast with honey mustard marinade on the grill. Meanwhile, we listened to music and talked about how much we had been through during the school year. Around lunchtime, the meats were ready, and we stuffed them into baguettes or tortilla sheets with salad. We had a refreshing lemonade on the side. After lunch we cleaned up at the Community Center and then went for ice cream, where we chilled ourselves with two scoops. On the way back we headed for the furnaces in Nagybajom, as the town was having a children’s day. Here we played ping-pong, made giant bubbles, had glitter tattoos made and had a go on a merry-go-round. We spent a good hour and a half at the site, then went back to the Community Centre, said our goodbyes and headed home. It was great to spend the day together in such a relaxed way!” – Csilla Bozsoki, Nagybajom Group 2
