As we saw it

As we saw it

When I first met my new students from Kaposvár, I asked them to tell about the moment they  learnt they had been accepted into the Csányi Foundation.

Antal Dominik: „I was really delighted when I learnt I’d been accepted. I couldn’t wait to meet my groupmates and I’m looking forward to the summer trip.”
Dausek Nándor: „I was very happy when I heard I’d done it. I’d been waiting for the news so  much that I ignored lots of other things.”
Fekete Lilla: „When I learnt I’m in, I was delighted. I’d been waiting for my first day so much. This day I’ve seen clips from the Foundation’s 10th ‘birthday party’, I’ve also seen and met some students from universities. I hope I’ll have a lot of fun here. Everybody’s so kind … I’m sure the activities will be awesome!”
Gregor Dóra: „I didn’t know wheter to laugh or cry, but I know I was HAPPY, better say: THRILLED! We were kindly greeted when we went in. Then we went into a big room full of parents and children. I also liked the food and drink we got. And the games we had with the big guys, too. All together, this afternoon really impressed me.”
Gyurka Péter: „When I learnt I’d made it into Csányi Foundation, I almost fainted from the joy. I was squealing and jumping around!”
Hock Dorottya: „I didn’t know what was inside that envelope. I wnted to open it, but my mother said later. I opened it ‘later’. I remember I was smiling while reading the letter. When I finished, I wanted to scream in joy … but that’s one thing you cannot do on the street.”
Ihász Péter: „I’m very happy to be a part of Csányi Foundation. My brother Dani felt the same since we can now go to weekend classes together. What’s more, my whole family was glad to hear I’d been admitted.”
Karácsony Dominik: „I was in the middle of an English test when my mother just came in and broke the big news. I couldn’t believe this happened. I proceeded to tell it to my theachers and my classmates, many of whom congratulated me. But I still couldn’t believe it until receiving the letter. Then I began to realize what this means … but no so quick! Let’s go back to ‘selection day’: I was ill and down and therefore out of shape. But I liked the tests as I could get a lot of new information. The drama lesson was fantastic, as were Sasa and Judit. I really got to like them both. At the interview everybody said they were impressed with me, though I don’t like praising myself. Then came this day, the others are out to have a sandwich, I’m sitting here, writing down my feelings. The end. PS: Now I believe it!”
Pretz Jázmin: „When mum brought the letter to the schoolyard, I could see the remarkable logó of the Foundation. I ran there, opened the envelope and read the letter. But when I reached the word ‘accepted’ I stopped. I was so overjoyed that I started to scream and jump. I wanted to run to my teachers with the good news, but that’s an impolite thing. But I hugged those whom I were playing with. Many classmates and their mothers praised me for having made it. The joy lasted for over a week, though it still keeps on, but it has became reality.”
Sárközi Emma: „When I learnt I had been accepted into Csányi Foundation, I was very glad. I was jumping on my bed, squealing and screaming with my siblings. We felt really delighted because all three of us are in. Then we phoned our teachers and told the the great news.”
Sárközi Eszter: „When mum called us, I thought she was joking. When I realized she wasn’t, I was jumping on the bed from joy. With my sister. I simply couldn’t believe it. I was very happy. This is awesome! My parents and friends congratulated us on the occasion.”
Sárközi Péter: „I was so glad. I could hardly believe all three of us having been admitted. The whole family was overjoyed. We’re in!”
Simonits Anna: „I was very surprised when I read the letter. I was waiting to see the guys, with whom I’m going to spend so much time learning and having fun. I’m looking forward to the camps, the lessons, everything. Mum and Dad shared my joy. The guys are very nice and I’m sure I’ll make lots of friends.”
Wolf Anna Lea: „When I learnt the news I didn’t know whether to cry or laugh. I couldn’t really imagine myself being in. But I’m so glad it came true.”
