Children’s Day in Mohács

“We’ve been talking all week and we were excited about Saturday’s trip, which Aunt Erika organised for us for Children’s Day. Some of us had been to the Extreme Park before, and they told us a lot about the games to ride and try out. We were on our way in time in the morning and arrived at the opening. We were surprised to see that other people had organised their activities here as well, as it was very busy and there was a long queue at the ticket office. Everyone was given wristbands to try all the games as many times as they wanted. First we visited the bobsleigh track, I was very excited because I had never been on one and I was afraid I would fall off. In the first round everyone was allowed to go up with a partner who had already ridden the bobsleigh. My fear soon disappeared and by the third lap I was able to get off without braking. We then moved on to the ropes courses where we really put our skills to the test. From down below, the heights to climb seemed a bit scary, but the safety equipment kept us safe. After suiting up, we took the course, overcame the obstacles and everyone made it back to the starting point. The rest of the afternoon was spent bobsleighing, while the girls and I tried out the trampolines and other skill games. We finished the day at McDonald’s where everyone could choose what they liked. We got into the minibuses in good spirits and headed home after a well-done programme.” Emily Santos-Horváth Mohács Group 1
