Horn Concerto in Jászberény

Horn Concerto in Jászberény

Friday (20th September) I came to Jászberény to talk with the students at Csanyi Foundation.

I shared information about my hometown and studies as a musician. Together me talked about how music connects people. We listened to several styles of American music. I played the horn for the students. I played part of the Horn Concerto by Frigyes Hidas, the composer I’m here to study. I shared my experiencis as a Fulbright student in Hungary and the difficultties learning the Hungarian language. As a group we talked about the similarites and differences of our countries. I enjoyed meeting the students and learning about their lives.
