Birds and trees day in Mohács
“The May programme of our Significant Days project took place last weekend. We were a little apprehensive about the sky, with gloomy clouds gathering in the sky, even though we had planned to spend most of the morning outdoors. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us and we even managed to see the sun for the afternoon. We were glad that the students came along and that we were able to meet up again, as we had spent a lot of time together and made good friends on the Guidance Day. The programme started with the teams forming and then everyone had the opportunity to show off their skills at different stations. By solving the tasks, we learned a lot of useful knowledge, and even learned the names and habits of the birds living in our area in German and English. At one of the stations, we made beautiful posters to raise awareness about nature conservation. While we struggled to solve the tasks, led by the students, we were treated to a delicious lunch by members of Group 3.
The day ended with a results ceremony and a lunch together. We had a great day together and look forward to the next one.” Viktória Prevácz, Group 1
