All we have to know about health

All we have to know about health

At the last weekend of August, health camps in Kaposvár have ended. We gained a lot of experiences and interesting information. I liked the last two day’s programmes the most. On Friday we heard about addictions, I mean, we didn’t even listen to them but we were invited to a talk. From the lecturers we got to know more and more issues about these phenomena. For me it was surprising that a person can so easily become addicted and there are a lot of tiny little things we even don’t consider that those can have a harmful effect on one’s life. How important it is to notice that we need help and we can ask for help with this thing because there are people always next to us. It was also a nice experience, when the lecturers played with us. The last day’s main role was move again: we started our day in the pool. Then we gathered in the Community House and slept there, which meant playing, talking and walking on that warm summer evening. We also visited the ‘Városliget’ for a star-hunt.I liked this camp not only because of learning a lot but also for having the others around. It’s a pity that our summer holiday has ended but it was also easier to get back to school because of this camp.

The health camp in Kaposvár has reached its half, everybody liked the programmes so far. It’s good to be with our team and besides we have a lot of interesting lectures, we also have time for enjoying ourselves. On the first two days of the camp we talked about personal hygiene and also about how much we should eat from particular and we also made a healthy menu for us. On our second day, we were at a gym, where I could figure out how tiring a cowering can even be. After training it was very nice to eat a healthy sandwich and a healthy ice-cream.
I liked our third day the most, when Dani Dausek talked about first-aid. We learnt a lot about blood-pressure and bandages. One of our older team-member, Sári talked about her choice at the university. She is studying pschycology and she knows how important our spiritual health is. Sári brought interesting activities and we had a choice to think about ourselves and our roles in the team. It was really good to have her around. Unfortunately, our camp comes to its end soon, but I am sure that our last two days also have their surprises.
