We visited open days

“Today we visited the Open Day at the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Lóránd University and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with my classmates. I was more attracted by the BME, but it was also very useful to visit the ELTE. At the Faculty of Economics at the University of Technology, I was able to find out how many opportunities the university offers, such as lots of opportunities to apply for study and internships abroad, and free language learning in 5 different languages. What I really liked was the emphasis they put on maintaining a community life for students; they provide them with regular programme opportunities.” Eva Kis Evelin, Jászság Group 3

“My time at ELTE was worth every moment. I can see myself studying at this university in the future. I think the atmosphere is very pleasant and the teachers and students are very enthusiastic. I first listened to a detailed briefing about the university and then attended an English lecture. In the afternoon, I attended a lecture on Communication and Media Studies. I was pleased to have the opportunity to get an insight into the workings of the university.” Tamás Burai, Jászság Group 2

“Today’s Open Day at the Budapest University of Technology was a great experience for me. I attended the lectures of the Faculty of Transport and Vehicle Engineering, as well as a workshop on Railway Development and a workshop on Urban Development, which I really enjoyed. I feel that this is the course that interests me. All in all, it was a meaningful and productive day for me, which will have a good impact on my future!” András Mihály Oláh, Jászság Group 3

“Before the ELTE Communication and Media Studies Department’s briefing, we heard a lecture on the usefulness of journalism. For me, it was an informative lecture, as I was interested in what future it could have in today’s world. I was able to find out what its role is nowadays and what directions there are within journalism. Later, I heard about how the course is structured, what specialisations are possible and what subjects can be taken. It was an extremely useful day because, apart from art, it is a direction that is close to my heart. Thank you for the Foundation for helping us to come here!”
