SHOOTING AREA AND REPUBLIC VISIT

SHOOTING AREA AND REPUBLIC VISIT

“If it is an autumn break, there are“ dental days ”at Jászság Group 4, as it is already a tradition for us to sleep a night or two in the Community House during the break and take part in programs full of experiences. This year we spent two days together, on October 25-26. As we prepare for our first ECDL exam, group members attended preparatory sessions in the morning. And in the afternoon we got to exciting places. In all cases, I take the needs of the children into account when planning and try to get them to places they haven’t been to before. This is how I chose the local Shooting Range and the Szolnok Airport Aviation Museum. In addition, we once again booked the small hall of the Jászberény cinema, where we watched a film that has valuable things to say for today’s rebel youth. The last two days have been a great team builder as we have talked a lot together and we are self-sufficient on these occasions. And on the shooting range, we were able to learn discipline during the show, which is essential in adolescence (as well). ”

In Lőtér near Jászberény we were greeted by the owner Ferenc Hábencius – the president of the Conquest Equestrian and Shooting Club Association. In particular, he communicated the security regulations to be followed, as the use of weapons requires increased discipline. The most important rule is, “NO UNLOADED WEAPON!”. After laying the essential basics, we were able to try out the shooting in a row. We were able to learn the technique, the right posture, the use of aimers, we were all interested in this sport. A couple of larger weapons were then introduced, such as the AK 47. This weapon is a Soviet machine gun type designed by Mikhail Tyymofevich Kalashnikov and is therefore often referred to as the Kalashnikov machine gun. We had the opportunity to take a closer look, to hold hands, which was a huge experience for us. Francis told us a lot about its application and structure, we had a lot of questions and we got answers to everything. Finally, its use was also introduced. The firing of the gun was surprisingly loud and sparkling. Prior to departure, we also received diplomas for mastering safe weapon management. It was an experience to participate in this program! Many thanks to Ferenc Hábencius for the kind welcome, the meaningful afternoon and the unforgettable experiences. ”

“In the cinema, we watched Coach Carter, which was very instructive for us. The film is about American rebel youth who live dangerous lives and all of them are basketball. Through Coach Carter, we were able to learn not to discriminate between people. Or he also drew our attention to always being cohesive and persistent, because if we are persistent, we will achieve our goals and therefore should never give up. If we need to make decisions that will change our lives, we will take enough time to think about it. Don’t do something we regret later. Let’s treat everyone with respect and don’t leave those in trouble alone. We avoid bad company because once we get involved, it is very difficult for us to climb out of it. We like to go to the cinema together, especially to the Sára Sándor hall, because then the whole space is ours and we have a great time. ”

On Tuesday afternoon we visited the RepTár Szolnok Aviation Museum after the morning sessions. The museum is a unique aviation history exhibition space in Central and Eastern Europe – with more than 4,500 m2 of indoor exhibition space and about 60,000 m2 of floor space, it can be considered for its size. In addition to the retired and restored machines located here, many interactive tools offer a special experience for visitors. The exhibited objects include military aircraft, helicopters, military equipment as well as engine models and other relics of Hungarian aviation history. During the tour, we learned a lot of new information about the history of the exhibited machines, we were able to experience the flight experience during the 4D cinema, and we were able to test our courage in the adventure park. During the two days, we learned a lot about discipline, perseverance, cooperation, which are essential in our lives.
