Career Orientation in Kaposvár with Bonafarm

On Thursday, November 14, Judit Cseh and Szimonetta Vuk from the Bonafarm Group held an interactive career orientation workshop for Group 1 in Kaposvár, attended by both parents and young people. The goal of the program was to provide insight into the operations of the Bonafarm Group and support young participants in making informed career decisions.

The session began with participants exploring Bonafarm’s areas of operation, achievements, and industry diversity through a virtual quiz accessed on their mobile phones. This engaging activity provided an excellent foundation for further discussions and interaction.

The group was then divided into two smaller teams. Judit guided one group, where students nearing their higher education decisions completed a questionnaire to identify their personality traits and characteristics. Based on the results, they worked in teams to explore which roles within Bonafarm’s various sectors might best suit their profiles. Meanwhile, Szimonetta engaged parents in discussions about the factors influencing their children’s career choices, the support they provide in decision-making, and the extent to which young people consider parental opinions. Participants were also able to draw inspiration from each other’s experiences.

The afternoon concluded with a joint reflection session, where both groups shared their experiences and insights. Many young participants highlighted that the workshop either reaffirmed their career plans or opened new directions for them. Parents expressed their gratitude, emphasizing how valuable they found the event—not only for the support it provided but also for the fresh perspectives it offered.

The program contributed to expanding participants’ knowledge, deepening dialogue within families, and strengthening the community’s role in supporting young people’s career choices.
