Career guidance talks

“On Saturday, we were visited by Lilla Becsei, who has been a volunteer at the Foundation’s Jászság Community House for years, helping young people who are about to choose a career. I find her career guidance lecture very important and useful, because we are addressing very topical issues. She talked about the new scoring system, its structure and introduced us to the world of work. He showed us how to use felvi.hu to get as much information as possible in the most efficient way. He made us aware of the major changes to the school-leaving exams and admissions. After that, she spoke to each of us individually and gave us the main information in a personalised way. I found it very useful because, in addition to a lot of information, we also dealt with questions about my own career choice. Lilla offered to help us in the future if we got stuck on something.” Nóra Pintér Group 3 Jászság

“During the morning, we had the opportunity to talk not only with Lilla Becsei, but also with Katalin Fülöpné Paksi, a volunteer of the Csányi Foundation. She told us about her own career path, how she got into the field of finance and how she kept her job there for many decades, first at the Lehel Refrigeration Plant and then at the OTP branch in Jászberény. Kati was not only a branch manager, but she also still leads the work of the volunteers working there with heart and soul. We also got to know a little bit about the secrets of the finance department, how many different kinds of staff are needed at the OTP bank to make everything work well. Although Kati told us mostly about finance, what we heard today was very informative for everyone, and even if we don’t go on studying in this direction, we can benefit from the knowledge we have gained today. He advised us all to do what is close to our hearts and to continue working in that field!” Éva Kis Evelin Jászság Group 3

Thank you Lilla and Kati for your help!
