The last day

The last day

Today (3rd February) I was sad because my last day at the Foundation has arrived.

Last day – Today it was sadly my last day at the Foundation.  I think everyone could notice that this did not make me feel happy. First of all I went to Nagybajom, and wait for the kids to get there, It was good I had some time to finish a few job that I had to do. I had lunch with Patrik, and after the kid got there. We spent the afternoon playing video game, FIFA, I love playing Football, I think it is a Brazilian thing hahaha It was really fun. But in the end of the day, the whole Foudantion came to say bye to me, it was sad just like in Jászberény , but it is very good to see I good close to them, and that I will really miss everyone, even if I was here just for one week. They have been so nice all the time it seems like it is a Foundation thing, because in Jászberény it was the same way. I got a gift from them, that I will keep forever with me, really kind. When I got back to the accommodation I spent the night and the morning with Klementina, she is lovely, and helped me ever all the packing thing. I am definite going to miss it. Thank you all so so much!! Time to say goodbye.

1st – Monday: Today Patrik and András came to the accommodation to pick me up and we went to the university, so I could visit it. But at 12 I had a meeting set up with this girl supported by the Foundation, and I tried to help her to find a professional opportunity in Germany as she wished, by the AIESEC the organization that I worked for. It’s been quite hard to handle both so it was really nice to put them together and see the AIESEC is everywhere in the world! 🙂 After that, Patrik and András took me for lunch, we went to this very nice restaurant, I got to meet at the library and the firehouse. I have been at one, so it was really new and impress I don’t know if the Brazilian ones look the same. The guy over there, the capital, was very exceptional also. I had fun! Also, we went out for a coffee, they know I love coffee and keep drinking it all the time. Tomorrow it’s going to be my last day, so sad…

29th – Friday: Today I went to the Foundation again, to have a trip with the kids. First of all I had lunch with the mentors, the lunch was really good and I ate everything (I have been eating too much in Hungary haha). So, in the afternoon we went to this beautiful lake called Deseda, I may have learned this word if I got it right. It was a really pretty place, and fun about it was that on our walk next to the lake. The kids were trying to teach me Hungarian, we had fun! We also had sandwiches with a table that feels like it was just waiting for us there. After that,  I just returned to the accommodation 🙂

28 th – Thursday: Today I had to say buy to Judit because she was driving further. I really really hope to see her before I flight back to Brazil! After that, we went to do my bus card so I could go to the foundation , it’s been almost a month I have been here and I have always been helped! There are so nice to me, all the time, that I don’t even know how to thank them! At the foundation, I cooked with this lovely lady and I also met her son which speak English so I could tell him everything I wanted to say to here, but I don’t speak Hungary haha she was so lovely! I had fun cooking and I love the donuts ! With the kids, I showed them my a presentation about Brazil, they seems to like it but they were very quite and shy, so I had to push them to speak! We had the donuts I cooked after the a presentation and it was a lot of fun!

Back to the accommodation, I was invited to participate of the Radio for about 10 minutes with those older kids from the Foundation, I enjoyed a lot, and they were very nice. I said everything in English, and they did translated, thank you haha I would not know how to say in Hungary. We went out for coffee later, it was fun. Happy to have new friends here =) Just getting sad because every day it gets closer to the time to go back home.

27-th- Wednesday: After working during the night with Judit, Me doing my job and her doing hers on computer,  I realized what a great time we make, and also how nice it is to have her around and talk to her,  I had my first day at the other Foundation. I was really excited about it . The place is really nice, everything looks pretty and new, also very preserved. I started with the decoration of a very nice wall , trying to improve my imagination and also my creativity, I did this with this nice Lady, and she did not speak English, so it was fun to work together and work on our communication.

At the afternoon, I spent the day with two groups of kids at the Foundation, they were about 14 years old and very kind, but a little bit sky. We did  a kind of a Art Lesson, doing things for Carnaval, I have done a few masks , and they really seems to enjoyed it. I just loved, that reminds me a lot about Brazil and how Carnaval is famous there. =)
During the afternoon as well, this other Lady, tried to explain to me with the kids, about the vowels in Hungarian, and Oh my god, how difficult it was for me hahaha but I did had a lot of fun. I really enjoy this first day, and it is hard to think every day I am closer and closer to come back to Brazil for good.

Today (26th January) it was my first day in this other community, Judit picked me up in Budapest and we drove to this other town during the morning. It was more than fun talking a lot during the trip, and also working haha … great to know she also has so much emails as I do during the day! how lovely! 🙂 We got into the community house, and I could see all around. Short after I met two girls, Szandi and Dora, we talked a lot about Brazil. I tried to make them comfortable for their exams, which I got the chance to be the teacher with Judit and another guy from Italy called Simone!

The exams part passed so fast, because I was enjoying a lot! Even tough we had about 7 to 8 exams, it didn’t feel like that much! They did B2 and C1 levels. I really enjoyed to see how great the kids did, most of them got 22 points out of 24 but two of them got 24, the highest score!! I am so happy with their English and how much they seems to enjoy learning! They are very good hard working kids! I am proud of all of them! It was a great day!!
