Finance and drama camp Sarlós

Today we arrived to our finance and drama camp at Sarlospuszta. Everyone was very delighted to have lunch. In the afternoon hours we unpacked and got to know the the property of the hotel through a guided walk. The boys proceeded to play football alongside some of the braver girls. The artistic youngsters then went onto make bracelets, necklaces, and braiding. Later on in the evening hours the kids were fatigued from the days travel and early on in the night layed down to sleep.

In the mornings hours the kids got a glimpse into the world of finance by the OTP Fáy Foundation. The kids learned the basic elements of finance through games and activities. We then visited the pool in the hot afternoon to cool off and to relax after their classes. The boys and some girls played a friendly match of football between the adults and kids. The kids who wished not to play football went to arts&crafts and made braided keychains.

Thursday we woke up to our usual morning exercise, but after breakfast the children’s day was spent in a set of new activites. The kids visited the rope course to test their bravery and capabilities, alongside target shooting and archery. The kids have been practicing throughout the week for a singing competition which was held today after dinner.

Friday relaxation was the undertone of the day,but only after the regular morning exercise. After the kids got a good start to the day, the boys held quick football tournament. Whilst the girls were busy with arts&crafts, making glass paintings.  In the extremely humid afternoon the children were delighted to cool off in the pool. The night was topped off with a closing party.

Saturday in the early hours with sobbing hearts we left our rooms and wished farewell to Sarlóspuszta and to celebrate the new friendships made, to properly say farewell to eachother.
