Family Day

Family Day

In the middle of September, we really didn’t expect a cold, rainy day when we planned our family day, but of course it didn’t stop the families of Jászság Group 4. We took over the kitchen of the Community Centre and, under the guidance of Maja Sas’s godparents, we took part in a pizza making workshop. Niki and Szabolcs are raising four children, the youngest of whom is lactose intolerant, so they often bake and cook at home. This time, however, they had to cater for 30 people, but that was no problem for the family.

“On Saturday we held a parents’ meeting with a family day at the Community Centre. Andi and I arrived early as agreed, as we made pizza with my husband’s help. So when we arrived, we started making pizzas, as we had to make dough for eight. Meanwhile, those who arrived joined in the kitchen work under the guidance of Szabolcs. On one side, the normal pizzas were made, on the other side, the gluten-free ones, as one of our guest girls was gluten-sensitive. It was a very good day, with many people helping to prepare our lunch. Thank you very much for the opportunity.” Batki Vas Nikolett, cross-parent, group 4, Jászság
