My name is András Urr, and I live in Böhönye in Somogy County. I went to Noszlopy Gáspár Secondary School for Economics in Kaposvár, then went on to study at Kaposvár University, where I graduated as an elementary school teacher with a specialisation in PE. After graduation I started teaching at Festetics Pál Elementary School and Elementary Art School in Böhönye. I worked in after-school care for three years, was a form teacher for a year, and for two years I taught PE classes while also working as deputy headmaster of the school. I wanted to improve my knowledge of pedagogy, so I applied to the University of West Hungary. Sport is a part of my life – it makes people stronger not just physically but also mentally.

In September 2015 I became the mentor of the 2nd talent nurturing group in Nagybajom. It is important for me that children should find out what they are interested in, so that they can realise their talent and set their own goals while also having fun. I do all I can to support them in this.
