Cheese factory visit
The two groups Pécs 1, Pécs 2, Kaposvár 2, Nagybajom 1. and Mohács 3. took a field trip to the Sole-Mizo cheese factory in Bácsbokod on 13th May.
This was a sort of prize for those who enrolled in the company’s “all that is cheese” campaign. We were greeted with plenty of dairy products, produced on site, then we were shown around the factory, wearing proper safety gear, following the processes of cheese making. Finally, a delicious lunch closed the day.
How we saw it…
“we saw how milk was prepared for pasteurization and gets sucked up by pipes.”“ we tried different cottage cheese treats, yoghurts, cheeses, coco and custard. “Demerácz Lili, Varga Izabella Pécs 2.“ it was great to see how chees was packed. First, red plastic bags were used, then they were headed and shrunk, then they were loosened and labelled and taken to a huge warehouse.”Polgár Antónia Pécs 1.
