Heat at Sarlóspuszta

Heat at Sarlóspuszta

The third day of the drama camp in Sarlóspuszta was not eventless. Even the extreme heat was not enough to sour our happiness. We had great time during drama lessons, in the adventure park and of course in the swimming pool.

We collected some pieces from the kids’ writings about the last few days that are the dearest and most interesting ones for us.

‘After breakfast we arrived a little tired to the drama lesson. We were talking about friendship, about best friends and about ourselves. We learnt many new games that require a lot of attention and concentration and sometimes we had dispute about them. After another interesting drama lesson we came back to our rooms where we could have thirty minutes rest before lunch. The superb lunch was followed another session of relaxing. Most of us wrote about the happenings of the day. As time passed by the sun become weaker and we came together around the swimming pool. The majority voted for swimming but there were some students who were rather sunbathing. The funniest moment of the day was when Dani pushed Mr Attila into the pool; twice. A quick snack was served around the pool. Then the day was closed with a delicious dinner and with the football match following it.’

‘After breakfast we had our daily routine with a joyful drama lesson. We picked up the threads of yesterday’s work. The task was to outline our hands and colour it with those colours that are the closest to us. Another funny task was to score a goal with a balloon tied to our waists. Suddenly, the balloon exploded and the unusual football match was over. The best moment of the day was the adventure park and the hottest as well. Our hands almost got burnt. The adventure park had some difficult parts but at the end even Ms Judit slid down on the slide.’

‘After the nice lunch, carrot and rucola salad cream with meat and fried potatoes, we headed to the adventure park. Everyone could go along the track even the most difficult ones were completed but some of us did not slide down on the rope slide in the end. We had nice chocolate pastry for snack then we looked for a cool spot in and around the swimming pool. Later everyone jumped a ‘bomb’ even Sasa did so. Everybody was really tired at the end of the day. Now we are going to have dinner which we hope will be as good as yesterday.’
