Successful Advanced Language Exams

Successful Advanced Language Exams

Since 2017, the year we joined the Csányi Foundation, our English language development has been supported through lessons, projects, international volunteers, language competitions, and language camps abroad. The hard work of recent years has finally borne fruit: this spring, we successfully passed the complex advanced English language exam.
Our close-knit group prepared diligently week after week to perform at our very best. The members of our group are: Orsolya Varga, András Mihály Oláh, Márk Szücs, and myself, Tilda Tamasi. It’s almost unbelievable that our journey has now come to an end—it feels like just yesterday that we had our first lessons, nervously trying to speak English.
We owe immense gratitude to our foundation mentor, Mr. András Szabó, whose dedicated work made this success possible. Over the years, he has become very dear to us and always aimed to teach us in the most creative and engaging ways—even the most challenging topics became enjoyable in his hands. Everything we received from him has left a lasting impact on us, and we will always look back with gratitude.
We must also thank Amber Woolam, our American volunteer mentor, who has supported our learning for over five years. Her warm and approachable personality brought the English language even closer to us.
We are deeply grateful to the Foundation for its support and for the many opportunities that helped us improve our language skills!” Tilda Tamasi, Jászság Group 3

“After nearly four years of persistent studying, this spring I successfully passed the complex advanced German language exam. For me, this is a major milestone in my language learning journey, though by no means the final destination. On the contrary, I feel that the real learning is only just beginning.
Through learning German, a new world has opened up to me: I can now read long and complex articles and books, allowing me to understand world events and phenomena from multiple perspectives.
This achievement would not have been possible without the support I received from the Foundation and my teachers. I would like to sincerely thank Judit Tajtiné Orosz, Anikó Fekete-Szabó, Bettina Terjéki, and Anett Szabóné-Sándor for their encouragement and professional help during my German studies, as well as everyone who contributed to my success in any way!” Gyula Pege, Jászság Group 3

Congratulations on these outstanding achievements!
