Szép Magyar Beszéd competition

Szép Magyar Beszéd competition

“The Szép Magyar Beszéd – “only” Kazinczy – competition in the vernacular – is one of our oldest competitions still held today, the aim of which is to nurture Hungarian as a mother tongue and to educate and use it correctly. The competition consists of 3 rounds, the national final is traditionally held in Győr. True to the era, however, this year the competition also moved into the online space. Competitors will be awarded in three categories for their exemplary Hungarian speech. Of the 50 people who made it to the finals in my section, 15 will receive a Kazinczy medal, which I also entered this year. With this I became the 15th Kazinczy medalist student of my school. I am proud of my result as I had a lot of work in it.” Dániel Ihász, Kaposvár Group 3
