Parents’ Academy in Szeged
We invited the parents to and interactive discussion.
On the 17th of May, Saturday, after the regular developmental lessons we involved the parents in ‘learning’. Fenyvesi Tamás, the Community House’s psychologist held an interactive lesson for the parents about teenage problems and difficulties in child upbringing. The lesson had a friendly atmosphere and we hope the many enquiring parents were given a bunch of good advice that can help them in their daily lives. While the parents were at the lesson, with the kids we walked to the nearby Indóház square where we watched the train model exhibition. The room sized model railroad layout showed various lifelike models from steam engines to the most modern suburban trains. Just to relax a little the bravest ones tried fountain jump to refresh themselves before heading back to the Community House to meet the parents again. After the nice day, everyone went home happy.
