As a volunteer in Jászberény

It was a really good feeling to spend some time (17 May) with the children of the Csányi Foundation in the community house of Jászberény and see how much they enjoy being there.

As a volunteer I had the opportunity to visit the foundation’s community house in Jászberény. I arrived from my hometown, Nyíregyháza with my mum on the 17th of May to hold a lecture for the children of the foundation.

I was really looking forward to meet the colleagues and the students of the Csányi Foundation. I arrived to a beautiful old-style building where a lot of people were waiting for me which was very surprising. There were all together 30-40 children listening to my lecture.
After the introduction I spoke about talent programs and health promotion for the children who attend primary- or high school. After this I read them a composition that I wrote called „ After 25 years..” Then we had a conversation about goals, dreams, success and the positive and negative effects of the internet. The students of the foundation were really open during the lecture.

It was an unforgettable experience for me to be with these children and I was happy to see that how much they enjoy being together. They are the members of an amazing community where they can improve and recieve support from their mentors and teachers. I met a lot of students with the same age as mine who are very talented.  I am very proud of that they accepted me and I honestly hope that one day I can meet more children from the foundation during trainings, camps or trips.

It’s absolutely amazing that there is an organisation called Csányi Foundation which holds the hand of young people and provides opportunity for them to make their dreams come true. It only depends on the students how they use it. I slept very well at night as I found a star on the sky that shows the right way for a lot of children in order to be successful as an adult.

A wise thought is on my mind now…. „ Do everything in order to have a better tomorrow. It only depends on you what the future holds for you and how you walk along. It doesn’t matter if you are not the best but if you did everything today to be the first tomorrow then you can fall asleep  without any worries.”
