“On Monday, June 19, the Mohács 1 group started their swimming camp. In the mornings, the children spend their time at the Mohácsi Swimming Pool, where they are divided into two groups under the guidance of swimming masters. Those who already know how to swim improve their technical skills in the big pool with swimming instructor Andrea Czakó, while beginners are taught in the small pool. Our day continues at the Community House, where exciting sports competitions are held under the guidance of junior mentors: in FIFA, foosball, and ping-pong. The matches are very exciting, and winners will be announced on the last day of the camp. Those who are not playing sports participate in a crafting session led by Annamária néni, where they will create a magic village for the weekend.

Our camp ended on Friday, and this week passed quickly. In the morning at the swimming pool, everyone demonstrated the skills they acquired during the week. Many beginners swam across the small pool, and Ildikó néni provided everyone with good advice on what to focus on for better swimming in the future. The advanced swimmers showcased their skills in freestyle and breaststroke, as they perfected these techniques during the week. After lunch at the Community House, the sports competition results were announced, and prizes were awarded. The junior mentors evaluated the competitions and handed out the prizes. The following results were achieved:

During the craft sessions, the “Magic Village” was completed, with Maja Balog being the most skillful and persistent in its creation.

We said goodbye to each other in a good mood and cheerfully.
