With Yina in the Vasarely Museum

Victor Vasarely was a hungarian painter.

He was one of the best op-art painters in the entire world.Today we went into a museum and watched some of his paintings in our home town, Pécs, with our voulteer from Singapure, Yina. After finishing in the museum we took her to some of the nicest places in Pécs.We showed her most of the places where teenagers in our age spent their most free time with haning out with friends. We’ve also been to the memorial street of the Aradi martyrs and told her the story about them.We told her stories about the turkish monuments in Pécs and some local storries about them.I hope she enjoyed it as much as we did.At the end of the day we helped her in selecting the next town she wants to visit.

Today I did my third trip out with the kids. They brought me to an art museum set up specifically for a famous local painter. It was unique and interesting to see product of something local. They then brought me around the area, showing me different places that the young people hang out. It was nice as I was able to see how the youngsters here hang out with their friends. It is rather different compared to my country. It was a good time being able to speak to the kids and see pecs from the local perspective and not just from the tourist point of view.
