Health-Camp in Nagybajom

Health-Camp in Nagybajom

The second day started in Böhönye, in the ambulance station. The leader of the station and his colleague held a first-aid presentation. Showed us how an ambulance looks like from the inside, and what kind of equipment are they using during work. Those, who wanted, could check their blood pressure. We really liked the tooting too. In the afternoon, Adrián Gyurka from the SMRFK’s held an interactive presentation about drugs and drug-prevention.

Today, on the 27th of August our Health-Camp has started. First, Szandra Kovács held a presentation about the importance of healthy diet. After that, we made our own food pyramid. In the afternoon, we played with Just Dance under the direction of István Bogdán. We really enjoyed it.

In the morning a coworker from the police brought us some interactive project related to traffic safety. We learnt about the tools of a well equipped bycicle, which we could take for a ride. We completed a test about it in the end. After lunch Szandra Kovács told us about a teenager’s life and problems and how to solve them. Tünde Varga volunteer have shown us the tools and methods of a masseur and kinesiology. Szandra Kovács NB1

On the last day of the Health-Camp, we summed up the whole week with a project-work and presentation, and filled the documents we had to. To the margin of the healthy diet, László Gázsik made salad mix, András Urr made some banana shake, and we could also taste Tünde Varga’s fruit salad.
We are very thankful for the opportunity to learn and try out new things in an especially good environment. – NB1 group
