Freshman camp in Sarlóspuszta
1st day – The cranes from Szeged and Kaposvár have arrived to Sarlóspuszta. After the long journey they have taken their rooms and then they had a delicious lunch. After the introduction of the Camp’s rules the programs have begun. First the campers could knew the camp’s ground and then they could swim in the freshwater of the pool. Before dinner there was a bit of time to play football and basketball. The day’s most interesting program was a sport competitive game, which was organised and conducted by the patrons. After the exciting competition everyone was enjoying their hard earned prize.
The first day was a great success and we are waiting for the next day.

2nd day – The first night went quietly and calmly and the morning had started with a moving exercise for the children. Before lunch the kids had started to extend their knowledge during the learning methodology lessons which was achieved by fun and also generative exercises. Meanwhile the other half of the cranes had participated in hand-craft program, where they made presents and bracelets for their loved ones and themselves. After this the groups have changed their places so everyone could take place in both programs. After the hectic morning and lunch the kids have been separated in groups. An exciting treasure hunt was the next program with a modern “garnish”. Through riddles and mathematical problems tried the kids to get the answer, what was necessary to open the treasure chests. Many smiles were there, when they discovered that the treasure is candy. During the free time the kids could do sports, swim and make handcrafted items. After this had arrived their first most important moment in their “csányis” lives, where they vowed as “csányis” kids. In this vow they accepted the rules and the goals made by the foundation. This day ended with a pair-dance exercise, which was organised by a patron, Mihály Csontos. This day was action packed and we hope, that a same sequel will be for the rest of the camp

3rd day – The camps third day. The morning exercise is now an inevitable part of the day, which was held in shining sunlight, in fresh air and it gave the momentum to today’s exciting programs. After breakfast we instantly started the adventure, the adventure park gifted us with many new and challenges. We tried the near 7 metre climbing wall, bowing, shot with airguns and on the cableway we felt ourselves as spiderman while climbing the “not-that-easy” spiderweb. The biggest experience was the glide from the tower. The resting after the adventure park was a film projecting, the beautiful and touching story of the little prince gave a great example to everyone. The dinner was later because of the weather and then we played number war. There were excitement also, the game was built upon teamwork and tactics. Unfortunately because of the rain it was shortened, after this the tea felt great. The night’s program was an in-door activity, everyone found a game for themselves which was good for them. Some improved their dance knowledge, some fell deeper into the excitements of table football and some played board game. The biggest fun was the gaged Activity party, where we found out, who is the best at drawing, showing or in round talk. At the end of the day everyone was tired, which was not a surprise because this was the most moving day of them all.

4th day – The morning was very beautiful today too, and the children started the day with the usual training. After that, the kids were seperated to two groups and they learnt about first aid. One group used a defibrilator too and they could pushed a doll’s chest like they needed to save a life. The other group get more information about the medic stuffs. Then the groups changed their places. Later the children were in the pool and the football pitch. However it did not take for a long time because a very good trip waited for them. They went to a farm where they were not hungry because a delicious home-made meal was prefered to them. The evening program was about the moving again. The students had 5 stations where they could try some very funny and good sport game. This day was very exciting and they are waiting for more programs.

5th day – This morning started the same was as always with morning exercise, and then we ate breakfast. On this day the young children tried out something new, the drama lesson. Beside this they continued to broaden their learning methodology knowledge. This had been done by both groups. After the delicious dinner the next program was the drama lesson, while the other group was using the pool. Everyone enjoyed it, because the sun had been shining the whole time. Today there was time for a quiet break, which was important for the kids next to these intensive programs. For dinner the children ate pizza and everyone loved it, because it’s almost everyone’s favourite dish. The night’s program was building a light trap, and then investigating the insects, which has flown on the trap. Then everyone went to bed quickly after this unforgettable day.

6th day – The last day has begun. Every kid waited excitedly for the moments of the last day. The following happened on the last day. During the drama lesson during the laughable moments, we have seen many great performances. During the learning methodology the kids could broaden their experience again. After the afternoon quiet break the bleak olympic has begun. It was admirable to see how well the children drove the barrow, threw the rubber boots and horseshoe. The teamwork was full when, the sieve like tube filled with water, thanks to the hard work of the children. Some football fan could watch one of the most exciting football match of 2018 World Cup. Meanwhile the others said goodbye to the pool and jacuzzi with a last bath. The dinner was followed with an apllausable competition, which was done by the patrons. The teams have fought over many hard challenges, meanwhile the kids have created a powerful relationship with each other. At the end of the night the camp chief could end this camp as a success. We thank the eager helpers: the mentors’, the patrons’, the teachers’ and the helpful volunteer’s work.
