I am thinking therefore I am

I am thinking therefore I am

We will have fun – I am sure as we learn several new things at the “think logical”camp in Veszprém.

First day:
We had nice weather, nice accommodation and delicious food when we arrived to Veszprém. After check in, we took a big stroll in the town. In the evening we had team building and drama lessons. We also learned the programmes of the coming few days. We laid down the rules for the camp and we discussed with the mentors that they allow us to watch the world cup football matches. I am really looking forward for the next few days.

Second day:

In the morning we had drama and “logical thinking” lessons. We discussed the legendary Sherlock Holmes logical conclusion in details and we figured out the legend, which surrounds the ‘barchoba’ guessing game. After the lesson we could play with the ‘master logic’ board game. In the afternoon we went to the Veszprém Zoo. We paid a visit to all of the animals but the greatest fun waited for us at the chimps. The dominant male, who was protecting his area almost jumped into our necks. The sight of tigers and lions was just beautiful. After dinner sport become into the centre of our attention.  Children of NB2 and J3

Trip and game
The main themes of the fourth day of our camp were excursion and games. We left the accommodation in cloudy weather to the nearby Pannonhalma where we visited the monastery. By the time we got there the sun had come out behind the clouds so we could enjoy the beautiful view. Our tour guide told us interesting stories about the place and the history of the monastery, plus we could get an insight in the everyday lives of the monks, who live there.
We ate up our cold lunch then we headed to Zirc to the famous botanical garden. We had a nice and casual stroll among the hundred year old trees and special plants. We lay down next to the pond and we just enjoyed the sunshine, we were chatting and laughing a lot.
The evening was about games: we started a chess competition and we put the evening football match on the chess board and we started another exciting escapology game.
Our day was eventful and we had really good mood today.

Szigliget and Tapolca
This is the fifth day of the camp in Veszprém. Today we had the last logic and drama lessons. Although the day started a bit sleepy but Sasa could cheer up the team. Following the drama lesson Ms Piroska conducted the logic lesson with interesting tasks and at the end of the lesson we could play board games. We were happy to welcome Mr Miklós in the camp and it was nice to spend the afternoon together.
After lunch, we travelled to Tapolca where we went on a boat trip in a cave. We also went to Szigliget castle where everyone enjoyed the interactive games. I really enjoyed it because I could try the throwing star and all my attempts were bull’s eye. It was worth to climb up the highest point of the castle to enjoy the marvellous view. After the castle tour everyone was hungry enough to consume all the scones.
Today we closed a nice and eventful day and although we got tired at the end of the day it did not stop the boys to play their evening football match. I am curious about tomorrow’s programmes because I am sure our mentors will have interesting programmes for us.
