I was an examiner.

Today I co-facilitated the final oral exam for 7 Csanyi students at the B1, B2, & C1 levels. My partner in this process was Nemedi Beres Judit, a profoundly supportive and whip smart English teacher. Together, we went on a journey through grammatical time and space, fueled by coffee and Nameday chocolates. We engaged with students on diverse matters, such as our confidence in herbal medicine, the ramifications of globalization, and of course, feelings about euthanasia. The students were all very eager and personable (in spite of such heavy conversation topics). I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet such motivated English learners, and I wish them all the best, at prom and beyond!
